It is not by change that the island of Lesvos has become one of the most famous areas for the production of Olive Oil. Eleven million olive trees flourish on the island providing their precious produce, Olive Oil, an indispensable ingredient for health and contemporary diet.

ELPA was founded in 1978 by Nicolas Paparisvas, a diligent industrious man whose life has been moulded and shaped around the production of Olive Oil. The company quickly assumed a leading role in the commercial and distribution services of the product.
ELPA's Olive Oil is selected from only the best mountainous regious of the island, which has enabled the company to gain significant shares of the markets, in all over the world.
ELPA with its up to date plants and equipment and in conjunction with experienced and highly skilled human resources has worked exclusively with Oil from Lesvos to succeed in establishing its own brand names of and "MYTILANA", "CRYSTAL" and "ELPA".

The company has established itself and gained recognition, commendations and the preference of customers. It has also been assisted by the consistently high standard and assured quality of Olive Oil from Lesvos. Having rejected any processing which made harm the natural quality of the Oil (even the filtering is carried out in the traditional way), the specialists of ELPA, being the last link in the process, take pride in the finished product.

"MYTILANA" the Extra Virgin Olive Oil , "CRYSTAL" the Pure Olive Oil and "ELPA" the Pafined Pomace Olive oil are made from selected Olives from the best Olive producing regions of the island, with their characteristic aroma and superior taste, all of them have become indespensable in the cusine of every household.
MYTILANA and CRYSTAL are available in quantities of 250 ml, 500 ml, 750 ml , 1 lt, 3 lt, 4 lt and 5 liters, in either plastic, glass or printed metal lithographed tins and "ELPA" in plastic (PET) bottles of 1 lt or in metal lithographed tins of 5 lt.

In essence, the brand names "MYTILANA" , "CRYSTAL" and "ELPA" represent the consistently
superior Olive Oil from Lesvos island.
